Browse trading card sets, pick one, and swipe to rip open a 12-card booster pack. Cards reveal one at a time with rarity-scaled animations and haptics. Every card you pull is added to your permanent collection. Free users get a pool of packs that refills over time, or you can unlock unlimited rips with a one-time tip.
No. LorRip is a simulator for entertainment purposes. No real cards are distributed or sold. Card images and data come from Lorcast, a community API. If you want to buy the real card, tap the TCGPlayer or eBay links on any card's inspect screen.
Pull rates are simulated based on community-sourced box-break data. They approximate real booster pack distributions but are not official. A pack is six commons, three uncommons, a reverse-foil slot, and two weighted rare slots where Super Rare, Legendary, Epic, Enchanted, and Iconic chases appear at their real low odds.
Enchanted cards are the borderless, full-art chase rarity. They are the rarest pulls in most sets and get the biggest reveal: the screen darkens, particles burst, and the foil shimmer sweeps across the card. Each set is fronted by one of its Enchanteds.
Free users hold up to 5 packs at a time, and one new pack regenerates every two hours. Free users have full access to every set, all collection features, and the complete card checklist. The pack pool is the only restriction.
Any tip tier (Supporter, Super Supporter, or Legendary Supporter) unlocks the same thing: unlimited pack opens with no waiting on the regen timer. The tiers differ only in amount, so pick what feels right. The foil shimmer, gyro tilt, particles, collection tracking, and stats are free for everyone. The tip never gates access to card content.
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If you have issues, contact us at the email above.
Three views: Grid (compact thumbnails with duplicate counts), Binder (3x3 page-swipe like a real card binder), and List (detailed rows with name, rarity, price). All views support search, sort (recent, name, rarity, set number), and filter.
On the card inspect screen, drag your finger across the card to tilt it in 3D. Rare and above cards show a foil shimmer that responds to your touch. You can also choose gyroscope tilt in Settings, so the card responds as you physically tilt your phone. The whole foil system is free for everyone, and it honors iOS Reduce Motion.
Market prices are sourced from TCGPlayer via the Lorcast API. Prices refresh automatically when you view a card if the cached data is stale. These are approximate and may not reflect current market conditions.
Yes, mostly. The full card catalog ships bundled in the app, so browsing sets and opening packs works without a connection. Loading fresh card images or refreshing prices requires internet.
Go to Settings and tap "Reset Collection." This permanently deletes all pulled cards, pull history, and stats. Uninstalling the app also removes all data since everything is stored locally.
Almost nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Your collection is stored locally on your device. The only third-party service is RevenueCat for in-app purchase management, which uses an anonymous ID. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
