PepKit is a dose calculator and injection tracker published by Lavai Labs LLC ("we," "us"). It is built so that your health information never leaves your device. PepKit has no accounts, no server, and no analytics.
Everything you enter in PepKit (medications, protocols, logged shots, injection sites, vials, weights, and calculator recipes) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We cannot see it, and we do not want to.
PepKit keeps an automatic backup file on your device so your history can be recovered if the app's database is ever damaged. This backup stays on your device. Your device's own iCloud or computer backup may include it, under your Apple ID and Apple's privacy terms. You can also export a backup file manually; where you send that file is entirely up to you.
There is no sign-up and no login. PepKit contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track how you use the app.
PepKit offers an optional subscription (PepKit Pro), processed by Apple through your Apple ID. To manage subscriptions reliably, PepKit uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure service. When you use the app, RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and purchase-receipt information from Apple. This is not linked to your name, email, or any health data (PepKit never collects those in the first place), and it is not used for advertising or tracking. Shot-day reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device by iOS. They are not sent through any server. Reminder text never includes your dose.
PepKit is intended for adults managing their own prescribed or self-directed injection routines. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.
Settings > Erase all data removes everything, including the on-device backup. Uninstalling the app also removes all app data from your device.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
