Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Lavai Labs LLC ("Lavai Labs," "we," "us"), the publisher of PepKit. By downloading, installing, or using PepKit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What PepKit does

PepKit is an informational calculator and diary for people on injectable medication routines. It performs arithmetic on numbers you enter (such as converting a dose into insulin-syringe units at a given concentration) and keeps records you create (shots, sites, vials, weights).

Not medical advice

PepKit does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app never recommends a medication, dose, schedule, or any change to your routine. All calculations reflect exactly the numbers you enter. Reference material shown in the app (such as published label titration schedules) is informational only. Decisions about medications belong with you and your licensed healthcare provider. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of anything in this app.

Verify every calculation

You are responsible for verifying every calculation against your syringe markings and your provider's instructions before injecting. If a result looks wrong, stop and re-check your inputs. Software can contain errors, and your inputs may contain errors; the final check is always yours.

Emergencies

PepKit is not for emergencies. If you believe you have taken an incorrect dose or are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or poison control immediately.

Subscriptions and purchases

PepKit Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple through your Apple ID.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of PepKit
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

PepKit, its design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of Lavai Labs LLC.

Limitation of Liability

PepKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any injury, health outcome, or damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output
• We are not liable for calculation results based on the numbers you enter
• We are not liable for missed reminders or notifications
• We are not liable for any loss of data
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim

Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Lavai Labs LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of PepKit or violation of these terms.

Age Restriction

PepKit is intended for users 18 and older managing their own medication routines.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
