Perennial is a birthday and special date reminder app. It runs entirely on your device and does not collect any personal data.
Perennial can optionally import birthdays from your Contacts. This access is requested through Apple's standard permission dialog. Contact data is read directly on your device and is never sent to any server. Perennial does not store a copy of your contacts; it reads birthday data from the system Contacts database in real time.
All of your dates, reminders, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Perennial does not require or offer account creation. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles.
Perennial does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not track how you use the app. There are zero third-party SDKs.
Perennial contains no advertisements and no ad-related SDKs.
Perennial uses local notifications (scheduled on your device) to remind you of upcoming dates. These notifications are not sent through any server. They are scheduled locally by iOS.
Perennial does not collect any data from any user of any age. The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
