By downloading, installing, or using PokeRip, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

PokeRip is a pack opening simulator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It allows users to simulate opening booster packs, collect virtual cards, and track their collection. PokeRip does not distribute, sell, or trade real Pokémon cards. All cards are virtual representations for entertainment purposes only.

Intellectual Property Disclaimer

PokeRip is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or GAMEFREAK. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo. Card images and data are sourced from the pokemontcg.io community API, which provides publicly available information about published trading cards. This is an independent fan project created for entertainment and educational purposes only. No copyright infringement is intended.

Simulated Pull Rates

Pack contents in PokeRip are generated using simulated pull rates based on community-sourced data. These rates:

• Are approximations and do not represent official Pokémon TCG product odds
• May differ from actual booster pack distributions
• Are provided for entertainment purposes only
• Should not be used to make purchasing decisions about real Pokémon TCG products

In-App Purchases

PokeRip offers optional one-time tip purchases that unlock premium features including unlimited pack opens, enhanced animations, and gyroscope effects. All tips are non-consumable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. Multiple tip tiers are available — all unlock the same features.

Affiliate Links

PokeRip contains links to third-party marketplaces (TCGPlayer, eBay) for purchasing physical Pokémon cards. These links may include affiliate tracking. Lavai Labs may earn a commission on purchases made through these links. We are not responsible for the products, services, or practices of these third-party platforms.

Market Prices

Card market prices displayed in PokeRip are sourced from the pokemontcg.io API and TCGPlayer data. These prices:

• Are approximate and may not reflect current market conditions
• Are cached and may be outdated
• Should not be relied upon for purchasing, selling, or investment decisions
• Are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of PokeRip
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content
• Use PokeRip for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to manipulate pull rates or exploit the simulation
• Scrape or bulk-download card images from the app

Intellectual Property

The PokeRip app design, code, UI elements, and original content are the intellectual property of Lavai Labs LLC. Pokémon card images and data are the property of their respective rights holders and are displayed under fair use for fan and educational purposes.

Limitation of Liability

PokeRip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss of collection data
• We are not liable for inaccurate card data, images, or prices
• We are not liable for any purchases made through affiliate links
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim

Service Availability

PokeRip depends on the pokemontcg.io API for card data and images. We do not control this API and cannot guarantee its availability. If the API is unavailable, some features may not work. Cached data will remain accessible offline.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of PokeRip after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
