By downloading or using PokeArtist ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. PokeArtist is made by Lavai Labs LLC, Indiana, USA.
PokeArtist is a reference and collection-tracking app for trading card art, organised by illustrator. It lets you browse a card catalog, mark cards you own, keep a wishlist, and see market prices. It does not sell cards, and it is not a marketplace.
PokeArtist is an independent project. It is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with any trading card game publisher or rights-holder. All card names, artwork, set names, characters and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Card images and metadata are sourced from publicly available third-party services and are shown for reference and identification.
Illustrator attribution comes from public card data and, where sources disagree or are incomplete, from research done by hand. It is best-effort and may be wrong or missing. Where no credit is recorded, the app says so rather than guessing. If you find an error, please tell us — corrections are welcome and are shipped in catalog updates.
Prices shown in the app are market data from third-party sources, provided for information only. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not financial advice or an offer to buy or sell. Where no reliable price exists, the app shows no price rather than an estimate. Do not rely on these figures for insurance, sale, tax or investment decisions.
PokeArtist is free to download and use. Browsing, marking cards owned, the wishlist, search, prices and backups are free and unlimited on every tier. An optional one-time purchase unlocks additional features described in the app at the time of purchase. Two price levels are offered; both unlock exactly the same features and differ only in amount. Purchases are non-consumable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or by Apple's refund policies, which we do not control.
PokeArtist is a one-time purchase. Buying a membership unlocks the features described at the time of purchase, on the Apple Account you bought it with, for as long as the app runs.
It does not buy a commitment to future work. New card sets, illustrator attribution, corrections, new features and continued compatibility with future versions of iOS are provided on a best-effort basis by one person, and may slow down, change, or stop entirely at any time, with or without notice, whether or not you have purchased a membership. Where the app describes a purchase as supporting this work, that is a statement of intent and not a guarantee of any particular update, release schedule, or period of support.
We may also change, suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it, including the catalog service and price data, at any time. Purchases are not refundable on that basis; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
PokeArtist depends on services we run and on third-party services for the card catalog, market prices and card images. We do not guarantee their availability, accuracy or continued operation. If a service is unavailable, some features will not work.
If the catalog service is ever shut down, the app keeps working with the last catalog it downloaded. Your collection is stored on your device and remains readable regardless, and the backup export exists so that you can take it with you at any time.
Your collection is stored on your device and is never uploaded to us. There is no account and no cloud copy, which means you are responsible for your own backups. The app can export a complete backup file and a spreadsheet copy at any time, free of charge, and it keeps recent local snapshots. We are not liable for loss of collection data, including data lost through device failure, app deletion, a failed restore, or a device you no longer have access to.
Do not use the app to break the law, to attempt to disrupt or overload the services it depends on, or to redistribute the catalog or card images as your own product. Do not attempt to circumvent purchase verification.
PokeArtist is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lavai Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for decisions made on the basis of prices, attribution or completion figures shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if your local consumer law gives you rights that these terms cannot remove, those rights still apply.
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
