Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the percentage jump by more than one item?

Because that is how the games count. Objectives are not all worth the same. Ten hidden packages are worth a single objective point between them, and every rampage in a game can be worth one point in total no matter how many there are. Rap Sheet uses each game's own arithmetic instead of averaging categories, so the figure matches what the game shows you.

Which games are included?

Two games are complete in the first release, with full mission lists, every collectible mapped, written hints, and the full trophy list. The others show a "Coming soon" screen. They arrive in free updates as each one is researched and verified.

What does the AT RISK badge mean?

That item can become permanently unreachable once the story moves past it. Open the row and the app names the mission that closes it off. The MISSABLE filter shows only what is still at risk. Not every game has missable content, and where a game has none the app tells you that instead.

A trophy did not tick when I finished its mission

That is deliberate. Some trophies require something specific during the mission, such as finishing without damaging a vehicle on the first attempt. Completing the mission normally does not earn them, so ticking them automatically would tell you that you had a trophy you had missed. Those trophies appear on the mission row with their condition, and you tick them yourself once you have met it.

Why do some pins have two markers?

Some collectibles have more than one spawn point. Where that happens, both are drawn, with the alternate shown as a smaller marker inside a ring. Clearing either one clears both, because it is one collectible.

Some pin positions look slightly off

A small number of collectible positions were recovered from community sources rather than published coordinates and are accurate to roughly the right block rather than the exact metre. Those items say so in their own hint text. Anything without that note is exact.

How do I back up my progress?

Settings has an export option. Your progress is also included in your normal iPhone backup. Because nothing is stored on our side, we cannot recover progress for you if you delete the app without exporting first.

Does it sync between my devices?

Not yet. Progress is stored on each device separately. Sync is something we would like to add, and if it ships it will be optional and the privacy policy will be updated first.

Does it work offline?

Always. The app has no network code at all, so everything works identically in airplane mode.

Can I change the app icon?

Yes. Settings has a few alternates.

Do I need to own the games?

No. Rap Sheet is a checklist and reference tool. It does not contain or connect to any game.
