Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Riplist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Riplist is a trading card collection tracker. It identifies physical cards with your camera, tracks the cards you own and want, and displays market pricing information. Riplist does not buy, sell, trade, or distribute cards, and it is not a marketplace.

Intellectual Property Disclaimer

Riplist is an independent project. It is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with any trading card game publisher or rights-holder. All card names, artwork, set names, and trademarks are property of their respective owners. Card data and images are sourced from publicly available third-party services. No copyright infringement is intended.

Card Identification

Scanning and card identification are best-effort. Riplist may occasionally misidentify a card, printing, or finish. Always verify the identification before relying on it, especially for valuable cards. We are not responsible for decisions made based on a misidentified card.

Market Prices

Prices displayed in Riplist are market data sourced from third parties. These prices:

• Are approximate and may not reflect current market conditions
• Are cached and may be outdated, including any "last known price" shown when fresh data is unavailable
• Should not be relied upon for purchasing, selling, grading, insurance, or investment decisions
• Are provided for informational purposes only and are not financial advice

In-App Purchases

Riplist is free to download and use, with collection tracking limited to a set number of cards on the free tier. Optional one-time purchases unlock unlimited tracking. Multiple tiers are available; all unlock the same entitlement and the same app. Purchases are non-consumable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. Scanning, searching, and browsing are never gated.

Your Data and Backups

Your collection is stored on your device. Riplist provides a backup export feature; you are responsible for creating and safeguarding your own backups. We are not liable for loss of collection data, including data lost through device failure, app deletion, or a failed restore.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Riplist
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content
• Use Riplist for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape or bulk-download card images or pricing data from the app

Intellectual Property

The Riplist app design, code, UI elements, and original content are the intellectual property of Lavai Labs LLC. Card images and data are the property of their respective rights holders.

Limitation of Liability

Riplist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss of collection data
• We are not liable for misidentified cards, or inaccurate card data, images, or prices
• We are not liable for financial decisions made using pricing information shown in the app
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim

Service Availability

Riplist depends on external services for market prices, catalog updates, and card images. We do not guarantee their availability. If a service is unavailable, some features may not work; the bundled catalog and your collection remain accessible offline.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of Riplist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
