Browse sets, pick one, and swipe to rip open a booster pack. Cards reveal one at a time with rarity-scaled animations and haptics. Every card you pull is added to your permanent collection. A regenerating free pack pool, or unlock unlimited rips with a one-time tip.
No. YuRip is a simulator for entertainment purposes. No real cards are distributed or sold. Card images and metadata come from YGOPRODeck and YGOJSON. If you want to buy the real card, tap the TCGPlayer or eBay link on any card's inspect screen.
Pull rates are simulated using hand-authored per-era pack configurations based on community-sourced box-break data. They approximate the real product but are not official. Early sets use 9-card structure with low Secret odds; modern sets shift to higher hit density with Quarter Century, Collector's, and Starlight rarities as low-odds chases; premium products carry bespoke configs.
A Hot Pack is an extremely rare event (approximately 1 in 400 packs) where every card in the pack is Ultra Rare or better. You'll know it when you see it: the screen darkens, a flash hits, and "HOT PACK" appears. Every slot is guaranteed Ultra or above.
The full ladder: Common, Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Ultimate Rare, Ghost Rare, Starlight Rare, Quarter Century Secret Rare, Collector's Rare, and Prismatic Secret Rare. Per-printing rarity comes from YGOJSON and YGOPRODeck, so the same card can appear in multiple sets at different rarities, and your collection tracks per-printing, not just per-card.
Rare and above cards get a Metal-shader foil treatment with a moving sheen, iridescent tint, and tilt-twinkling sparkles. In Settings → Card Motion you can choose how the foil moves: Gyro reacts to your phone's tilt, Idle does a gentle automatic sweep, or None turns motion off. You can also tap and hold any card in the inspect view to manually tilt it in 3D. The shimmer respects iOS Reduce Motion if you have it enabled. The whole foil system is included for every user, with no paywall.
You start with a pack pool that holds up to 5 packs. One pack regenerates every 2 hours. Free users have full access to every set, all collection features, and the complete card checklist. The pack pool is the only restriction.
Any tip tier (Supporter, Super Supporter, or Legendary Supporter) unlocks the same thing: unlimited pack opens. The tiers differ only in amount, so pick what feels right. Foil effects and gyro are not tip-gated; every user gets them.
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If you have issues, contact us at the email above.
Three views: Grid (compact thumbnails with duplicate counts), Binder (3x3 page-swipe like a real card binder), and List (detailed rows with name, rarity, price). All views support search, sort (recent, name, rarity, set number), and filter (rarity, favorites).
The Home screen groups sets into era shelves a long-time player will recognize, plus separate shelves for premium products, structure decks, speed-duel, and TCG-exclusive sets. Each set tile uses cropped art from that set's boss / cover card as its visual identity.
Market prices are sourced from YGOPRODeck, which aggregates TCGPlayer, Cardmarket, eBay, Amazon, and CoolStuffInc data. Prices refresh automatically when you view a card if the cached data is older than a day. These are approximate and may not reflect current market conditions.
Mostly, yes. All set metadata, card data, and per-era pack configurations ship bundled with the app, so you can browse every set and rip packs offline. Card images and live price refresh require a connection (cached images work offline once downloaded).
Go to Settings and tap "Reset Collection." This permanently deletes all pulled cards, pull history, and stats. Uninstalling the app also removes all data since everything is stored locally.
Almost nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Your collection is stored locally on your device. The only third-party service is RevenueCat for in-app purchase management, which uses an anonymous ID. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
