Deck of Pain is a bodyweight workout app that uses a standard deck of playing cards to generate exercise routines. The app provides exercise suggestions, rep counts, and form guidance. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, personal training, or physical therapy.

Deck of Pain provides approximate calorie estimates based on general metabolic calculations. These estimates:

Deck of Pain optionally writes workout data (workout type, duration, and estimated calories) to Apple HealthKit. This feature is off by default and requires your explicit permission. Health data written to HealthKit is governed by Apple's privacy policies and is never accessed, collected, or transmitted by Lavai Labs. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining of any kind.
Deck of Pain does not guarantee any specific fitness results. Individual results vary based on effort, consistency, nutrition, genetics, and other factors outside our control.

Deck of Pain, its design, code, exercise descriptions, and original content are the intellectual property of Lavai Labs LLC. The playing card mechanic and standard suit symbols are in the public domain.
Deck of Pain is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Lavai Labs LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Deck of Pain or violation of these terms.
If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms before using the app. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users during physical exercise.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of Deck of Pain after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
